We encourage you to visit the CTCA website where you will find a wealth of information on the Club and the Coton de Tulear.  Their website is packed with up to date information on the Malagasy Coton de Tulear, basic information on the coton, up to date articles and latest news.  They've provided numerous, informational ariticles about all the dog food poisonings too!  Very, very useful information.

Jay Russell and Laurie Splading  have been incredible resources for people adopting and breeding these wonderful dogs.  Whenever a person has a question, they are always there for them.  Be assured that this is an extremely supportive Club and each and every breeder involved in the CTCA stands behind this great breed and the puppies they produce 100%.

Keep in mind that there are two types of cotons - The Original Malagasy Coton that the Russells brought from the Island of Madagascar in the 1970's and the "Europeon FCI Cotons" whose current owners and show ring enthusiasts are actively striving to make into tiny, all white, toy dogs.  The Original Malagasy Coton comes in three different color varities: White, Tri-colored and Black & White.  They've never been bred to conform to being only one color or meet only one conformation type.  Because the lines have stayed so pure, this breed has remained extremely healthy and have very few health problems.  Each potentially breedable dog must go through extensively health tests in order to be bred so you know you're starting with a good solid foundation from the get go.

So be assured, with the support of the CTCA and your breeder, you'll get a wonderful companion that's ready to play with and has tons of love and kisses for you and your family!
